Andrew Swinburne

Andrew has worked in Investment Banking for over 20 years. Most recently as Managing Director of Goldman Sachs Leveraged Finance Group until 2001. Andrew has led c.£85bn of advisory and financing related assignments. These included landmark transactions, supporting major acquisitions by, Vodafone, ICI, BAT, PowerGen, Pearson, Unilever, Krupp and Repsol and first time capital market issuance for Orange, OmniTel, Bouygues Telecom, Syngenta, Energis, NTL, and CompleTel. Prior to Goldman Sachs Andrew was a Managing Director in Chase Manhattan’s Global Syndicated Finance group. Andrew is a graduate of Downing College, Cambridge with an MA in Law. Andrew is a new business Mentor and Advisor to the Princes Trust.
