Patrick Jacob

Patrick has worked in the Merchant and Investment Banking markets for 21 years; prior to Anthem Patrick spent many years at the Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW)  and latterly was Co-head and then Chairman of DrKW's Global Debt Origination Group.  Patrick has led c. £28bn of advisory and financing assignments in the international capital markets.  These included landmark transactions for issuers such as Cadbury Schweppes, Aviva, BAe Systems, Orange, Wind, Equant, Bulldog Communications Colt and Energis; acting for financial sponsors including Carlyle, APAX, Cinven, Candover and GIP and advising on the financial restructurings of companies such as SICPA Group, ICO Global, Isosceles/Somerfield, British Fuels and GTS.  Patrick is a graduate of Bristol University and completed an MBA at London Business School where he received a distinction for his second year project on Telecommunications deregulation.
